The King David Museum and Genealogy Center is a new historic and archeological museum located on one of the business thoroughfares in the Old City of Jerusalem. The Museum established by Susan Roth, a Jewish descendent of King David, had its official public opening at a celebratory event on March 18,2008. Visitors of the Museum can learn about the life of King David who worked to unify the 12 tribes into one Jewish Nation.
King David is known for having purchased the land where the Holy Temple rested in Jerusalem for 50 pieces of gold. The Museum houses many artifacts that date back thousands of years including coins, slings, holy books, oil lamps, holy incense and more.
The opening of the Museum was a dream come true for Founder, Susan Roth, who has been diligently working on the concept for many years. Susan stated, "the importance of the Museum, is to identify and reunite the descendents of King David and, as a rebuilt dynasty once again, to become a light unto all nation."
