Mission Statement
The King David Museum and Genealogy Center's goal is multifaceted. Aside from relating history and displaying unique artifacts spanning 3000 years, the ultimate mission of the Museum is for each visitor to glean a deep understanding of the Davidic era and realize his/her place within the annals of this meaningful historical era. By absorbing the critical underlying message of the Museum, the Jewish Nation will be able to utilize the legacy of King David and his vital lessons as a roadmap for all future generations to work towards peace and unity.
The Museum has been designed to be user friendly for adults and children with displays that appeal to different age groups from the story of David and Goliath in glass figurines to rare documents from Jerusalem's modern history to a display of harps as old as 3000 years. There is something of interest for everyone.
The Museum's Genealogy Center as well as the Hall of Genealogy are meant to allow the visitor to see that they are not just an isolated Jew from Kansas, Toronto, or Zurich but rather they are part of a chain spanning back to King David. Each person has some link to this royal lineage with a regal past, present and future. Thus, the Museum serves to connect the dots of individuals around the world and bring them together as one royal family.
The King David Museum - a vital link to the Jewish People's past, present and future through one of the greatest Jewish leaders that ever lived.
